The National Salon Suites Conference

Code of Conduct

Welcome to the National Salon Suites Conference. We’re here to learn, grow, and make valuable connections — and maybe even enjoy ourselves while we’re at it. To ensure everyone gets the most out of this event, please take note of the following:

Respect the Stage

Speakers have prepared their best work for you. Please silence your phones and keep side conversations to a minimum. If something can’t wait, step outside quietly — think subtle exit, not dramatic production.

Enter and Exit Gracefully

We understand people need to come and go. Just remember: doors are not soundproof and footsteps carry. Slip in and out with the same discretion you’d hope for if you were the one speaking.

Conversation Has Its Place

Networking is encouraged — in fact, it’s half the reason you’re here. Just be mindful of timing. Save the big ideas, introductions, and laughter for the hallways, receptions, and coffee breaks.

Make the Most of Your Investment

You’ve committed the time and resources to be here, so lean in. Ask questions, take notes, meet new people, and gather insights you can actually apply. This isn’t just another date on the calendar — it’s an opportunity.

Courtesy Above All

Treat everyone — attendees, staff, and presenters — with professionalism and respect. A simple smile or kind word goes further than you think, and it sets the tone for the entire conference.

Share Wisely

If you’re posting on social media, highlight the key takeaways, not entire speeches. Keep your focus on being present in the room while also spreading the word beyond it. Use #NSSC2026 #NSSC26Atlanta when you share.

In summary: When we all respect the speakers, respect each other, and take full advantage of the opportunities around us, everyone leaves having gained more than they expected.
